 FIFA U17 Women's World Cup: Nigeria Vs Columbia Flamingos To Miss Final The Nigerian U17 women's team on Wednesday lost to the Colombian Women U17 team on penalties. After a goalless 90minutes the game was decided on penalties. The flamingos got to a bright start when they were ahead by 4-3 but lost the rhythm and gave the victory to their opponents. The penalty shoot out ended 6-5 in favour of the Colombian U17 Women's team. They will be playing Spain in the Final while Nigeria will play group stage opponents Germany on the same day

  Liverpool already made De Jong transfer Top Target Frenkie de Jong has already become Liverpool's main transfer target for the upcoming winter. The Reds are struggling with injury blows, and the Dutchman is seen as the problem solver there. Liverpool have already opened talks with the Catalans, who don't mind selling Frenkie in order to unload the salary cap.  FIFA president to ban Iran from the World Cup The world football governing body FIFA has received a letter from some concerned Iranian sportsmen and women alike. They were urging them to ban the Iranian football association and ultimately restricting the national team from participating in the World Cup 2022. The FIFA rules are very clear concerning the involvements of government in the sports affairs of a nations' football body. And at the moment the Iranian football council is heavily under the control of the government hence the call for the ban. Also, women are not allowed to watch games in the stadium in Iran. A decision FIFA frowns at, because all and sundry should be allowed the freedom of doing such. The Iranian nation lifted the ban in 2019 when FIFA first spotted the issue but have since then gone back on their decision and women are out of the stadia again.  Columbia Vs Tanzania: FIFA U17 Women's World Cup Columbia Through To Semi-Finals C olumbia edge Tanzania 3-0 to meet the flamingos of Nigeria in the semi finals of the Fifa Women's World cup, India 2022.  Columbia took the lead through the tournament's leading scorer Caicedo in the 2nd minute of the game. The other goals came in just within 20minutes, an easy cruise for Columbia as Tanzania posed no little treat to their defence. Columbia will meet Nigeria on Wednesday 12noon local time.  Fifa U17 Women's World Cup: Nigeria vs USA, Nigeria Edge USA 4-3 The flamingos of Nigeria 3 days ago beat the U17 USA side 4-3 on penalty. A game quite technical and interesting. The flamingos of Nigeria opened the scoring on the 26th minute of play through number 8 shirt Edafe who shot the ball past the goal keeper from the spot kick. The US her goal in the second half of the game after a one two pass that was not cleaned up by the Nigerian side at the brink of 4oth minutes. The Nigerian emerged victorious after the spot kick, since the normal time ended in a draw. The flamingos will play Columbia on Wednesday by 12noon Nigerian time. See you in the next post

 Liverpool Vs Rangers: Liverpool Demolish Rangers 7-1 as Sallah Gets Hat Trick Liverpool vs Rangers 7-1 the game ended in favor of liverpool. A result not expected but deserved by an all alert and attacking liverpool fc of England. The Scottish champions took the lead in the 16th minutes that left the stadium in estacy. Firmino made the lead only 5 minutes when he headed home a Gomez corner. Firmino added another in the 54th minute, Darwin Nunez made it three. Sallah got on the scorers sheet with  HATRICK.  FIFA U17 World Cup Nigeria Vs Germany: Flamingos Drop 3 Points Against Germany T he FIFA u17 world cup India 2022 has proved to be a real shocker with several results, officiating and some spectacular goals. The Nigerian Flamingos are not left out of the game as they took on Germany in their first group games on Tuesday 11 Oct. It was a well fought game amongst the two heavy weights. The Nigerian Flamingos took the lead at the 27th minute through a free kick at the edge of the box. The strike by Miracle Usani was on to be reckoned with. The lead didn't last so long as the Germans got their equalizer at the 48th minutes and added another at the 61st minutes.  The game ended 2-1 in favour of Germany. Thy were a lot of poor decisions by the referee and some blunder by the lineswomen a feat worth questioning about. See you in the next post.

The English marksman's name is hotly debated within the Munich side in terms of transfer target priorities. Recently, the Dutchman was close to Leeds United move, but the deal fell through because the player changed his mind and decided to only consider top level clubs. The Frenchman penned an agreement with the Indians until the summer of 2026.  Xavi Alonso Named Bayern Leverkusen Head Coach With the season fast eroding Leverkusen has not lived up to its expectations since the start of the new season. Bayern Leverkusen are the second from bottom in the Bundesliga hence the need for a change. Th board has named 40 year old world cup winner Xavi Alonso as the new head coach of the team. The contract is to last June 2024, Alonso is expected to bring the team back to wining ways.  Leverkusen finish third last season and did qualify for Uefa champions league but has failed to find it form, hence the need for an adjustment.

Although gifted and talented with power and goal scoring eyes he seems to think more of the others than himself.  Napoli Vs Ajax Uefa Champions League Group Stage Napoli showed their superiority over shaky Ajax of Amsterdam on the night as they won 6-1. The goals kept pouring in and would not stop although they were not with their goal scoring Victor Oshimehen. Ajax took the lead by the 8th minute but not for long as Napoli equalized through Raspadori in the 17th minute to level up. Things got better for Napoli as they scored yet another at the 33rd minute. Zelinski and Raspadori made it third and fourth goals respectively.  It went from bad to worse as Tadic Ajax captain was sent off and Napoli netted two more on the night to make it 6-1. its their second straight win in the champions league group stage, after a 4-1 win over Liverpool at home.  Uefa Champions League Group Stage : Inter Vs Barca Inter Milan Fc for the second time in history beat Barcelona Fc 1-0 in the Uefa Champions league group stages. In a game full with controversial decisions. Inter Milan took the lead on the stroke of added time of the first half through a powerful volley by   Hakan Calhanoglu who wiped the short into the net. The second half proved to be more interesting as Barca did all they could to level up all to no avail. A penalty appeal against Inter was ruled out, Lewandowsky was fouled but not given. The game leaved much to be expected of VAR. But on the end Inter carried the day. Congrats to them.
