 Xavi Alonso Named Bayern Leverkusen Head Coach

With the season fast eroding Leverkusen has not lived up to its expectations since the start of the new season. Bayern Leverkusen are the second from bottom in the Bundesliga hence the need for a change.


Th board has named 40 year old world cup winner Xavi Alonso as the new head coach of the team. The contract is to last June 2024, Alonso is expected to bring the team back to wining ways. 

Leverkusen finish third last season and did qualify for Uefa champions league but has failed to find it form, hence the need for an adjustment.

Rooney has agreed a $1m -a-year deal to coach DC United, the ex-England player travelled to the US capital alone without his family.
