Manchester City become the first Premier League club with squad worth over one billion-pounds

Manchester City become the first club in the



history of the Premier League to have a squad worth more than One Billion Pounds.


Their brand value of about £1.16bn makes them the second largest brand after Real Madrid. This record is impressive considering that they spent about £300m acquiring players in the transfer window at the beginning of the season.
