He has also revealed how working with a psychologist has helped him put past struggles behind him and take his game to another level ahead of the World Cup with England.  LEWANDOWSKI RECEIVED 2021/22 GOLDEN BOOT Officially For the second year in a row, Barcelona and Poland forward Robert Lewandowski won the Golden Boot , the award given for the most goals in a single campaign. Last season, Lewandowski netted 35 goals in 34 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern Munich, getting 70 points.

 SADIO MANE RULED OUT OF WORLD CUP Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane picked up an injury in the Bundesliga fixture against Werder Bremen. As reported by L'Équipe, the 30-year-old player will not be participating at the Qatar World Cup, which will kick-off on November 20.  He has a tendon injury. Unfortunately, the Senegalese is expected to miss several weeks of action. Bayern have confirmed that Mane is injured and will miss the next Bundesliga Matchweek game.  The Bavarians also note them being in touch with Senegal Football Association medical staff.  Senegal coach Aliou Cissé is set to take Mane to the 2022 World Cup, even if he can be available only at the 3rd game of the group stage.  Former FIFA President Admits Awarding the World Cup to Qatar was a 'Mistake' Sepp Blatter has admitted the decision to award the World Cup to Qatar when he was FIFA president was a "mistake". The build-up to this year's World Cup has been dogged by concerns about the suffering of low-paid migrant workers to build the infrastructure in the tiny Gulf nation and discriminatory laws that criminalise same-sex relations. Blatter, 86, was the boss of FIFA in 2010 when its executive committee controversially voted for the World Cup to be held in Russia and Qatar in 2018 and 2022 respectively. Blatter claims he did not vote for Qatar and instead wanted a "gesture of peace" by hosting the two tournaments in Russia and then the USA. See you in the next post

Qatar World Cup Ambassador Blast Gay People It is no new news that Qatar is strict against homosexuality be of any kind. But recent developments has shown more strictness about it. The controversial comments from World Cup Ambassador Khalid Salman came in an interview for German television, in which he called gay people ‘haram’ and said they have ‘damage in the mind’.  He made the comments during an interview for a documentary investigating Qatar's track record with LGBTIQ+ people.   Pique bids farewell to Barcelona in tears  Gerard Pique played his last match for Barcelona at Camp Nou. His farewell to the fans was very emotional, the 35-year-old Spaniard couldn’t hold back tears: "When you become an adult in life, you understand that sometimes loving means letting go. I am sure that in the future I will be here again. I love Barcelona. That's why I think this is the right time to end my career. This is not goodbye. I was born here, I will die here," Pique said.
