5 New Premier Leagues Rules To Be Implemented This Season

The new Premier League season is here! What felt like an endless wait has finally ended, and we finally get to see our favourite English teams compete for the most coveted prize yet again.

But this time around, it is not business as usual. This Premier League season will be a little different from the previous ones because there have been some rule changes.

. Here are 5 new Premier League rules that will be implemented for the first time this season.

5 subs:

Most leagues in The world have already begun this but the premier league will start hers this new season. Each team will be given the opportunity to have 5 substitution during a game as opposed to 3 sub's previously permitted. This already began in the community shield game between Liverpool and Man city.

Goalkeeper’s position for a penalty:

Before now the goal keepers were allowed to have one foot outside the line when a penalty is to be taken but now both feet will be behind the line and keeper can cone out once the kick is taken.

More match balls:

A minimum of 10 balls will be available in a game. 2 at each on goal post, one on the field of play, one with the fourth official and the rest with ball boys.

New offside rule

A player can not suddenly become onside because the ball touched an opponent before getting to him. Now the ball will have to be with the opponent wanting to pass to a team mate before you can be allowed your goal, if you dispossessed him in the process.

What happens when players go berserk?

If a player goes out of the pitch to attack a third party, the referee is obligated to five the opposing team a free kick that's apart from the card shown to the offending player.

Let's know what rule you find very interesting in the comments below.
