The Hidden Reason Behind Sadio Mane's Exit From Liverpool
There are a lot of theories on why the Senegal international left the club so early in the summer transfer window. After six seasons at Liverpool, Sadio Mane joined Bayern Munich this summer. He could have stayed with the Reds if the leaders had accepted one of his requests.
Sadio Mane at the level and rank he was playing st Liverpool is not one to ignore or joke with especially, if and when you get the opportunity to keep a striker of his quality. But it seems the reds administration were not ready to dance to his tune or make their club a one man show.
1. Salary Raise :
Considering his performance at Liverpool and the efforts put into the team, Radio Mane asked for more. He wanted to be paid 400,000 Euros weekly but the club refused to grant the request. Its not a bad one if you ask me, its a fair deal especially considering what other stars around the world are earning. Underperforming Neymsr earns far more than Sadio at Liverpool.
So when Bayern came knocking it was logical to leave.
2. Sallah Rivalry:
it seemed at the time that Mo Sallah was the icon of the club and face of recognition at Liverpool. And when you're a man at 30 like mane, you'll want some spotlight too. Even when he won the Afcon Mane wasn't shown so much reception and warmth like Sallah was when he had individual award earlier in the year. So going to Bayern especially without Lewandowsky's presence, the camera may just be on him again.
3. Senegal Pressure:
Mane at an interview with Liverpool said his country men wanted him to leave the reds. Mane sponsors and runs a hospital and good school back in his home town. Do leaving Bayern with the money splash was a good deal for him at least he'll pay the bills without itching.
