Nig vs Morocco: Wafcon 2022 Semi Finals

The Atlas Lionesses of Morocco will face the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the semifinal of the ongoing 2022 WAFCON on Monday the 18th of July 2022 by 9pm Nigeria time. Both teams have already booked a spot at the 2023 FIFA women world cup. The winning team will advance to the Finals of the 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations where they will face either Zambia or South Africa. The losing team will play the third place match.



Morocco has won all their games so far in this competition, defeating Burkina Faso, Uganda and Senegal to win their group with 9 points before defeating Botswana in the quarter finals to advance to the semi finals and also qualify for their first time in their history to the FIFA Women's World Cup.



The super falcons of Nigeria on the other hand lost the first game in this competition to south Africa 2 goals to one but quickly bounced back by defeating Botswana, 2 goals to nil and Burundi 4 goals to nil to finish second in the group with 6 points behind south Africa.
