According to Sky Sports, Lionel Messi has informed PSG that he's 'not open' to discussing a new contract with them right now. He wants to wait until the Qatar World Cup is done next year before formally starting negotiations.

Messi's current deal runs until 2023 and PSG are reportedly keen to extend the 35-year-old superstar's stay.

PSG are willing to hand an extension of another year. However, if Messi does well with Argentina in the World Cup, he could negotiate better terms.
