Man City's owners have bought Palermo

 Manchester City's owners The City Football Group

have acquired a majority stake in the Serie B side Palermo.



Football finance expert Kieran Maguire spoke about this as the acquisition makes the Italian side the CFG's 11th club under it's stable of clubs.

Manchester City chief said: "Our goal in the next few years will be to get into serial A. It won't be easy it will take a lot of hard work but the club needs Seria A. Palermo is joining a family today."..Ferran Soriano
