Blatter & Platini cleared of corruption charges

Sell Blatter, Platini Court Case Update

Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter and former UEFA president Michel Platini have both been cleared of corruption charges by a Swiss court.

Blatter in a short interview with the press shortly before his hearing began said" I am clean, my hands are clean, my body is clean and my spirit is clean. He reaffirm that his relationship with Platini is very strong despite the accusations against them."

It will be remembered that both Platini AND Blatter were accused of money laundry to the sum of 1.6million dollars in 2011. They were both suspended from footballing activities for 6 years which triggered Blatter's resignation.

Sepp Blatter has since expressed his gratitude to the court, family and football fans who stood all these years by them, until declared free.
