Birmingham City sack head coach Lee Bowyer

 Birmingham City have confirmed

the departure of head coach Lee Bowyer.



Bowyer is leaving Birmingham after helping the club preserve their Championship status during his 16-month spell in charge.

The club said on their official site "Lee will always be welcomed back at Andrews anytime, we thank him for all his efforts"
