FIFA Veto 26-player World Cup squads for Qatar 2022

International teams competing at this year's World Cup in Qatar will be allowed to name 26-player squads, FIFA has confirmed.

In the past, nations have only been allowed to name 23 players, but that number has been increased following concerns over player welfare since the coronavirus pandemic.

For those players included in a World Cup squad, the final date they will be allowed to play for their clubs before the tournament begins is November 13.
Also, the substitution per game has been increased to 5 players as against the previous 3 and the remaining squad will be allowed on the bench as against 12 players in the previous years.
We hope things get better for the players SBD the game at large.
See you in the next post.
