Tottenham offered £40m in writing at 4pm on Wednesday and Everton chairman Bill Kenwright initially went away, believing the offer was insufficient.  The world governing football body FIFA has has announced that she will resume the sales of the 2022 world cup tickets scheduled to hold in Qatar later this year. The tickets phase two sakes had earlier been stopped by March 29, due to some internal logistics as announced by the body. Interested persons should note that the sales of the World cup ticket begins between 5the July to 16the August 2022, as announced by FIFA on her official website.   2022 runner up Matteo Berrettini, 9-0 on grass in 2022, has withdrawn from Wimbledon with Covid-19. "I am heartbroken to announce that I need to withdraw from Wimbledon due to a positive COVID-19 test result," Berrettini said on Instagram .   Petr Cech will leave his role as Technical and Performance Advisor at Chelsea on June 30. Cech is the latest to leave the club following the Todd Boehly-Clearlake takeover after the departures of chairman Bruce Buck and director Marina Granovskaia.   International teams competing at this year's World Cup in Qatar will be allowed to name 26-player squads, FIFA has confirmed. In the past, nations have only been allowed to name 23 players, but that number has been increased following concerns over player welfare since the coronavirus pandemic. For those players included in a World Cup squad, the final date they will be allowed to play for their clubs before the tournament begins is November 13. Also, the substitution per game has been increased to 5 players as against the previous 3 and the remaining squad will be allowed on the bench as against 12 players in the previous years.   Vincent Kompany has set out his vision for Burnley at his first press conference as manager of the club. Following relegation to the Championship the clarets have lost key players including Ben Mee and Nick Pope but Kompany is confident that replacements are on their way, as he looks to guide the side back to the Premier League .   Eight doctors and nurses who cared for Diego Maradona face homicide charges after his death Eight doctors, nurses and a psychologist who cared for football legend Diego Maradona will be tried for homicide. Maradona, who captained Argentina's 1986 World Cup-winning team, died in November 2020 at the age of 60.The star, who underwent surgery for a subdural haematoma a few weeks prior to his death, died due to cardiac arrest.
