5 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Strange Rules
This year in Qatar is going to be different from all other World Cup tournaments in different ways. To start with, we already know that time and place are different. We’re used to the World Cup being played in the summer at the end of the European season, but this time around, the tournament will be held mid-season during fall.
But guess what! When the tournament starts in November, time and place will be the new things you’re least concerned about. You know why? Because there are new rules being introduced in Qatar this year.
1. 5 Substitution
This may not be new a news but it will also be featured at the Work cup
2. Semi-Automated offside:
According to FIFA this will reduce the tune it takes for the VAR to make an offside call, as the football on the pitch will have sensors in it that collects data 500 times in splits seconds to enable the VAR room with accurate decisions before sending it to the linesman.
3. Female Refrees:
We see them in Premier league games but for the first time in the men's FIFA world cup we will see female center degrees and lines women. Already 4 female degrees have been named for the mundial.
4. Team Rooster:
The teams will have the opportunity to select 55 players for their selection who will latter be reduced to 25 final players for the event, ad against the normal 30 players reduced to 23.
5. Goalkeeper Foot On line Rule:
To avoid punishment and retakes of penalties, the goalkeeper us to ensure that a part of his body is on the line before the play. And this will be implemented in Qatar 2022.
